3. Network Etiquette

Please keep the following suggestions in mind when posting messages on the Fourm. They will help keep the Forum user- friendly for everyone.

No Clutter

PLEASE reduce CLUTTER on your posting, when replying to another message, delete or SNIP out irrelevant text from previous messages. Paraphrasing, quoting, and sending neat and clean messages selectively, are both kinder to peoples eyes, message boxes and to our archives. Messages are archived for future retrieval; bandwidth and computer space is an issue for some systems.

No Flames

Flames: a flame is an emotionally charged posting, and is often directed at someone. Please note that the Forum does not tolerate flames. Do not use foul or abusive language nor engage in personal attacks. Failure to abide by this and other rules are grounds for immediate removal from the Forum. Please be considerate of others. Through inexperience Forum members may inadvertently violate the above suggestions.

Complaints, Suggestion, Disputes

Complaints, suggestions, and/or issues relating to disputes or disturbances on the list discussions should be deferred and sent privately to the ADMIN. It is important that such postings do not create disruption to the open Forum. It is time consuming and takes a lot of ADMIN energy that could otherwise be used to improve the Forum.

Copy Paste from other sites

Posting large 'copy and paste' messages from other web sites and newspapers are not encouraged. Instead, posters are advised to only post a short excerpt, and offer the URL address where the information is located. More importantly the subscriber should offer their own perspective and reason why the readership is being directed to the link.
