The challenges to the reform movement are many, but a lack of funds is one that hurts us the most. We all contribute to the movement in our own way – with time, effort and money. Activities/expenses:The Udaipur jamaat takes care of seven mosques and a jamaatkhaana which are under constant threat of being taken away by the priesthood. Funds are needed for the legal fees to fight court cases, and for ongoing repairs and renovation of these properties. The jamaat also runs several other organisations such as schools, medical clinics, libraries for which money is needed for the upkeep of buildings and equipment and for buying new material.
