Maharashtra: Fadnavis’s New Bill On Social Boycott Is Most Welcomed

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

very interesting debate..if skq resorts to pomp and showbiz like sms does, his improved visibility can do some impact on abdes in short run. but he himself, his family and followers deprived of masjids, jamatkhanas, roza's etc which are sort of pre requisite for merry making showbiz tamasha. how can skq get this? i think skq followers should first get this constructed very quickly in thane.why dont they try this..encroach the masjid in kolshet inaugurated 2 years back by muffs.having that said skq followers though in small numbers should resort to 'talvaro chalavi kaapi nakho'.

this is only feasible option left if skq want to make his visibility.do or die..i am willing to contribute in whatever way i can for fighting injustice done to elderly fragile person. he should get chance to prove his point.infact he should do every tricks that sms does..just setting up peaceful small groups of educated bohras in US by his son's wont help..they will have to tame the beast 'so called INDIA' where there is jungle raaj, be it justice gs patel or modi, all are BIKAU.

If SKQ believes that he does not have access to bohra properties which are sole proprietory of the Dai of Dawat-e-hadiya then he has admitted to the fact that he is a claimant and not a true DAI. Practically he may not have the access physically, as it could be unsafe, a threat etc etc, we saw the rough behaviour by SMS camp over raudat tahera visit.

Said and done, SKQ can be braver than this excuse. Because we live in 21st century of information age. He is wealthy enough to be protected, he has acceptable number of followers to be protected, he has law by his side ( Excommunication act).
kimanumanu wrote:But this is where I would keep arguing that it is not direct contact with SKQ that these families need.
Commoners need to see SKQ in action, they need to know he is the boss to submit to. SKQ needs to be reachable, seeable, hearable in action near their house. Look what SMS is doing. He is marketing himself left right and centre. Whirlwind tours from America to amdavad to deep corners of india and with that he pulls a large crowd wherever he goes. Abdes are running in all directions, roads, railway stations, streets. Just glad that abdes are not waiting for Muffy maaula outside his toilet with haath jori ne ubha revu.

SKQ followers too must brave and reach out to bohra properties and use them, those are properties belonging to pyara farzando of SMB. The leaders must lead the followers.

Good points by bro asad and alivasan, India is the HQ of the Kothari Inc, this is where the power and moolah is.

Hoping that SKQ is a shafeek, kind, compassionate bawa, his tours can be different and austere unlike SMS. Let their be comparison talk of the town. Let SKQ’s character and actions be felt right in thier town.. SMB’s pyara farzando are in the grip of the demon, Shafeek bawa SKQ must step up and save the pyara farzando.

SMS camp will be rattled, ruffled and in dance of disgust and temper they will keep goofing up to present their true dark and violent self. And if not, then it is a win/win situation for abdes being pampered, lured and benefit from the competition.

I agree that SKQ needs to establish personal contact with Bohras in general and should come out in the open and visit towns/cities having sizeable Bohra population. The only fear (or excuse) could be the violent outburst of MS goons which on the contrary would go in favour of SKQ as this could be a valid defense in the court of law as MS has assured the courts that he is not indulging in any such activities and hence violence on his part would dent his case.

KQ probably rightly worried about his safety. But then what happened to the idea of Khuda will take care of his Dai & his will, will be done?

Secondly MS will say he is not responsible for harming KQ. Can't take responsibility for what someone from the community did against his wishes. For his it will be a case of saanp bhi mara aur lathi bhi nahi tooti.

Catch 22 for KQ. MS is sitting pretty.

What amazes me is how despite the case and the question mark of Nass, MS instead of showing any defensiveness, showing any kind of flexibility, went in the opposite direction. He has been aggressive from day 1. Has become even more rigid. Is exercising even more control than his father did. He has got his followers in a trance who can't stop singing his praise.

Exactly ! well said ! Kotharies are good at sensing the flavor and mood of the masses. SMS gave abdes exactly what they were looking for. A spiritual entertainment. SMS and his team were very swift to move legally and physically. SMS launched himself with a bang in people's mind (Phata poster niklaa hero) types. After demise of SMB and coming of new DAI, people's expectation are high, everything is new and in this newness anything can be shoved down. SMS camp took maximum advantage of SMB's presence before and after life. he positioned himself physically very well in public appearances, photo frames etc. SMS's PR did marvelous job. and after SMB's demise, SMS appropriately transitioned from the shadow of SMB to his own persona (which I find is pretty dumb, short tempered and rattled all the time), I find him funnier.

while SKQ launched website, legal cases, debate request. his approach was like an old school. these approaches created a slight ripple, while SMS banked upon these meagre rebels and went all offensive in strategy with laanatbaazi and hate campaign. it is all about sensing the mood of the masses. people love entertainment. SMS camp is full of drama, action, music. Abdes come to masjid, sit in front of large A/V Screen and watch parades in america, galiyakot, burhanpur, hasanpeer, surat etc, watch flashy presentations and a fakhera jaman. people are struggling with stress in day to day life, SMS gave them a hate idol SKQ to channel this stress, frustration and anger.

while SKQ's thanda saya is really thanda, sitting in thaane and americas, hardly any movements to other parts of bohra presence. battling it out through legal channels and social media. does he want only netizens to be his followers. Abdes dont wanna be spiritual in confines of thier house. they wanna socialise, wanna be seen with flashy jewellery, colorful ridas, wanna talk and see latest fashion trends, wanna show-off their piety, spirituality, status. sheikhs wanna sit on sujnees, (they paid a ransom to get these titles and treatment) bearded and topied men wanna feel superior and pious than chiknaas (clean shaven). youngsters wanna see each other, flirt a bit, aunties and mommies wanna observe and search a bride for thier bhatijaas and sons. Dukaandaars wanna socialize and build networks. SMS gave abdes all of these and topped it up with more and more entertainment. abdes are bound to go crazy. salivating at next big event ready to pack bags and run.

Just wondering had people who are excommunicated(especially in maharashtra) are taking any steps especially peerbhuoy family or engineer's family even insaf bhai?
