Bohra whatsapp duniya

The one and only free public forum for Bohras. The focus of this forum is the reform movement, the Dawoodi Bohra faith and, of course, the corrupt priesthood. But the discussion is in no way restricted to the Bohras alone.

Ibadat of Allah Subhanahu is an afterthought in the masjid. Even on Lailatul Qadar. Worship of Muffu Boss is preeminent.

There is no doubt that it is the Masjid area. It was evident in the very first picture.

What's the hoopla about playing cricket in masjid. Haven't we seen marching bands in full regalia inside masaajid?

I agree, playing games inside the masjid is nothing new, this is being done almost every Waaz, Who can scream and cry the loudest? Who can beat the chest the hardest? Who can reach they namaaz space first? Which person can curse SKQ/ STF the most?

The screen shot is of a message sent to a STF follower after they prayed imammat namaaz in London masjid a year ago "Yo, can you make sure you come at 4:30 this Sunday cause that's when we'll be in masjid waiting for you with our ak-54 and bhooti choori" Just when you thought the stupidity of MS followers couldn't get any worst their are likening themselves to shemr.

I love the cool headed and fact-based response. We know who else brought a weapon in the masjid one morning in Shehre Ramadan.....So the similarity does not end at Shemr!

Folks, I got a confirmation from a very reliable local source that this is NOT inside the masjid but it is in the Jamat khana.

Arwa Qutbuddin has a book of poems "Water My Soul: Reflections in poetry". You can get it on Kindle. Some of the poems reflect on her grief, on the loss of her father, the loss of her children and the turmoil their family is going through. She says that when she visits her children in Family Court, they turn their faces away from her, which makes her sad and cry. I am sure all here feelings are genuine, and as a mother she feels deeply for her loss.

What I find ironic is that these people were complicit in many families being torn apart, many people losing their livelihood and many people being physically assaulted and beaten. Yet, she, in her naive cluelessness writes a poem called "In his shoes". I wonder why she could not put herself in the shoes of those who suffered at the hands of her uncle and her grandfather, all the while her father was enjoying life quietly. When they could enjoy life in Australia, in US and all over the world, I guess she never paused from her partying to think for a moment the sufferings of others. Now that her own family has been torn apart, her own kids have been snatched from her, she is suddenly feeling sad.

I do not wish her any grief, but I hope that these people, born into luxury beyond the dreams of princes and kings, will realize that this suffering they now feel they themselves caused uncounted number of people.

Told ya! You should have followed your own advice and focused on your own nafs instead of going all up in arms about the actions of others. One should sometimes use one’s own brain to deduce veracity. Try it. It works just as well as own nafs etc....

Absolutely agree, Biradar. It may sound churlish to say this, but this is called "just desserts". The way her children turn away their faces from her, we have also seen our loved ones turn away their faces from us on the say-so of her uncle and grandfather. Her father and her family, and she being part of that family are complicit in this atrocity. Hundreds of homes and thousands of relationships are broken up. With her wounded heart she should consider the atrocities her family is committing and try to empathize with the victims -- and if she can find it in her, write a few poems reflecting their sadness. But we know she would not do it. These scions of the "royal family" have lived cossetted lives above from the pain and sorrow their regime has been causing. Her sadness will only have meaning if she can connect it to the sadness of the others -- the victims her family is responsible for. Otherwise her private grief is just that: private and selfish, with no resonance to the world around her. I do want to sympathise with her situation but, in good conscience, I cannot.

Biradar and Humsafar
Very well said by both of you,
Yes we can symphatize with her grief but still her brother STS or her family have not come out and condemned the atrocities committed to many families when SKQ was Mazoon while we can have empathy but What goes around, comes around
