Re: Question on imam!?
Mustali was married to the daughter of Badere Jamli. So the Al-Afdal was the brother of Mustali's wife. Al-Afdal was the Mamajee of Al-Amir. Badere Jamali was the Vazeer of Mustansir. He forced Mustanisr to change his successor for immate (Nizar was originally nominated for immat after Mustansir) as wanted his son-in-law to become the next imam. This is how two Ismailis divided again into "Mustalians" (present day Bohras) & "Nizarian" (present day Agakhanis).

You must be knowing Imam is selected or appointed by Gods permission, and Imam is Imam from birth,
so how can one force Imam Mustansir to appoint Imam Musta'ali.......
your info is irrelavent,

Re: Question on imam!?
This is the historical account not the religious account. What we believe has no bearing how events unfolded during that period of time.

I don't care what Agakhani source mention (probably your reference is towards Farhad Daftary's Ismaili History).
Following are the independent sources which states same account of events:
1. The First Crusaders 1095-1131 by Jonathan Riley Smith
2. The Succession to the Fatimid Imam al-Āmir, the Claims of the Later Fatimids to the Imamate, and the Rise of Tayyibi Ismailism by S. M. Stern
