part 2 of: REPLY TO "WHO WAS HADHRAT UMAR (RADHIALLAHU-ANHU)? "
I hope some one reads this. He could copy and paste but I had to tap on my keyboard and crack my brain replying this, which I dont think will ever be appreciated......
26. The Qur'aanic ayat which was revealed in accordance to his suggestion as what to do with the Maqame Ibrahim.
>>What is this story about Maqam Ibrahim?
27. Due to his protection of modesty women were ordered to start wearing veils to cover their faces.
>>He tried to force women to wear Niqab even when the time of prophet but he wasn’t successful. Bah! Your women protection crap. He was a women-hater. Women would run away and hide when they see him coming. He had a reputation to be very harsh with women. In Islam (wahhabi version) bidah is wrong! Then why is Niqab being force upon women in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan? Selective Bidaah?
Maybe you should ask Sunni ulama if your wahabbi ulama isnt sure about women's hejab.

28. Because he called Nabi (SallAllaahu alayhi wasallam) Moula (guardian) Allaah Ta'aala revealed an ayat "That Allaah alone is his Moula".
>>Do you still call Jew to do tafseer on your Holy Quran? Why haven't the majority of Ulama heard this version of hadith before?
29. Through his dua Allaah Ta'aala revealed the clear prohibition of wine.
>> He didn’t believe that wine was prohibited until he saw the proof. What can I say, he had a lot of vice, and being alcoholic was one of them. Seriously, I haven't heard of this one. But just for your information, Al-Quran is written in a sacred guarded tablet since long before everything was ever created. God didn’t write or invent the verse on the spot. Al-Quran was already there, waiting in the preserved tablet, waiting until the time comes for it to be sent down. When some incident happens and people come to the prophet for advice, some verse was reveled. Basically this is how the revelation system works. Some incident, real human problem at that time, some people come to prophet, asking his advice, verse is reveled, some witness who saw it and some people wrote it down. And I haven't heard of any mentioned of Allah reveling any verse from the dua of an average Joe. Nope, I don’t think any dua from any tom, dick or harry is important enough for Allah to sent down verse. The verse comes when it's the time for it to be sent down. I don’t think god like to be rush into his job. Even we shia don’t try to upgrade our Imam's rank and say that some verse are sent down because Imam Ali made some Dua although many verse has been sent down about the Imam but you are not interested in anything other than Umar..right?
30. His suggestion to perform Janaazah Salaat on a hypocrite was assisted by
the revelation of an ayat.
>>Now you are telling me that Umar is getting revelation. What happen was at that time a munafiqeen died. And People were waiting for the prophet to pray Sala-tul-Janazah on him but Allah sent down a verse to prohibit prophet to pray on him. The decease was a Munafiqeen(hypocrite) although he looked quite holy to outside and to all the people.
Where was Umar at that time?? Could be close by. I don’t know. Those 3 always attach themselves very close to prophet.
31. When asked by Nabi (SallAllaahu alayhi wasallam) regarding the story of
Hadhrat Ayesha (RA) he replied that it was a false accusation, thereafter an
ayat was revealed which absolves her.
>>Prophet sent Ayesha to his father's Abu Bakar house. Scandal start to come up and people were talking. Prophet waited patiently for Allah's guidance. Then the verse was reveled "anyone that accuse women adultery to bring forth 4 witness." She was proved innocent, but I fail to see how this statement is related to "who was Umar"
32. The conquered areas of land under his control reached 255 105 square
miles.
>>Muslim conquered half the world. It wasn’t a short process, it went through the time of crusade until into 14/15 century. In his time as khalifah he didn’t participate in any war and in the time of prophet he ran away to save his neck in the war of uhud.
33. When he said that the Qur'aan was enough for salvation he just proved
the purpose of prophethood i.e. to convey the message of the Quraan.
>>Prophet asked us explicitly to ask his family and progeny to translate and interpret the verse and explain the meaning of Al-Quran to the people. But you people don’t believe this and ask any tom dick and harry about quranic meaning. That's why we have 73 sects in the world right now and only 1 that will be on the right path.
said that
34. In other words, it meant that whosoever has been guided by Allaah then
nobody can distract him from that path.
>> Allah never misguides people. People misguide people and syaitan makes doubt enter your hearts when you are right.
35. To which his close associates and Nabi (SallAllaahu alayhi wasallam)
kept quiet but the family of Nabi (SallAllaahu alayhi wasallam) proved him
correct practically.
>>What's this? Where is introduction of the problem? Why the family of prophet always enters in any hadeeth to proof Umar was right??? By the way, are we still about Umar?
36. Whose shame and modesty reached the 4 corners of the world.
>>I have heard this hadeth in your Sunni book that it is related to Uthman. Uthman was a terrible ruler. Everyone hated him! No one wanted to bury him after he died. People rebel and revolt. He started the destruction of Muslim empire. He put his evil family on the governance of so many places, shams, kufah, Egypt and use baitul maal money freely to lavish on his family member and his daughters weddings and he made his family Ummayah so powerful, they took over the Islamic world

37. After the demise of Hadhrat Abu-Bakr (RadhiAllaahu-anhu), without any
objection, he was selected as the next Khalif; even before this he was
already selected by the best of creation after the Ambiyaa-prophets -i.e.
Hadhrat Abu-Bakr RadhiAllaahu-anhu.
>>Abu Bakar died and was on his deathbed and in the process of writing the will. He didn’t forget his good friend Umar that helped him in the Camp of Banu Saqeefah. The will was written by Uthman while Abu Bakar was on his deathbed. In his will he stated that the next caliph was Umar. Those 3's stooges are always together. Democracy died the day Abu Bakar become caliph.
38. During his Khilafat on one side he was engaged in dispatching an army to
Iran whilst on the other side he was discussing issues with the messenger of
Qaysan and Kisra. While preparing the victorious army of Iran and Egypt, he
was engrossed in deliberating with Hadhrat Khalid and Hadhrat Muawiyah
regarding war tactics. All this whilst he himself, had on patched clothes and
wore an old turban and on his feet were old sandals.
>>You called that creep Muawiyah as hadrath? Is that the same criminal khalid Al-walid you are mentioning in this story? Bad company.
39. Sometimes he would be on the mimbar explaining the orders of Allaah and
sometimes he would be carrying buckets of water on his shoulders feeding the
poor, the destitute and the widows.
>>Stupid Umar on the mimbar inventing his bidaah.
40. During the day he would be fulfilling the duties of his Khilafat and
during the night he would patrol the alleys and streets of Madinah, assisting
the needy.
>>I have heard 100 version of this hadith/story of 100's of caliph from 1001 night. And I am not joking.
41. He was so rich that the kingdoms were spread at his feet but he opted
for such simplicity that king's messengers could not even identify him.
>>You should check out how the family of prophet lived in extreme poverty at his(Umar) time. He was 2 face munafiqeen. Why he wanted to show to the people of his humbleness and piety and at the same time oppressing the family of prophet and their supporter. By the way, most of this hadith quoted by you was invented at the time of muawiyyah (Ummayah empire). They had extremely efficient newspaper and publication house control by the "jewish" ulama to fabricate hadith.

42. His inner authority was so strong that his outer dignity seemed
insignificant.
>>You into Sufism?? you silly! Munafiqeen are always like that.
43. Although he was very particular in his religions affairs, he was just so
soft in his personal affairs.
He didn’t know anything about religion, he invents taraweh, and he changed tayamum, Hajj, mutaa. And let us not forget his racist policy. He was the harshest and bad temper man at that time. He oppressed women a lot. He stopped women from going to mosque, forcing women to cover their face and try to fix mahr. His still had his attitude before jahiliah. Although Islam has place women very high but his male chauvinistic side could still be seen from the way he treated women.
44. He established a 'Baitul Maal' for the safe-keeping of the state's
wealth.
>>Huh??? So you are saying there was no Baitul-Maal at the time of prophet? Anyway, if he was following Islam, why didn’t he give the khums and zakath to the family of prophet? They were the one who was the most rightful people to divide the wealth among the poor and destitute
45. Through the blessing of his intelligence, courts were built and judges
were appointed.
>>By all means, let us all talk about the Justice of Umar. In Umar time there was a women who was taken to the court for the charge of adultery (Zinah) because she gave birth to a baby with just 6-month pregnancy. Umar sent her to be stoned, but Imam Ali stopped it from 2 verses in Al-Quran.
46. Because of his lofty political insight, offices for the armies were
built and salaries fixed for the soldiers and volunteers.
>> I am getting tired with you trumpeting his virtue. What about the thing that he mess up ..big time???
47. He also suggested that a measuring department be set up so that proper
measurements were carried out.
>>There is always scientist, architect and poet in this world. Your Umar doesn’t have to be jack of all trade…you know.
48. With the blessing of his experiences, he had full control over the
population register.
>> He was also a population register officer? I am impressed. Honest!
49. He also appointed daily provisions for the poor Christians and Jews.
>>Why don’t you tell exactly how he classifies daily provision? Let me brief it to you. In his caste system, at the highest were Arab, and then his clan; next other clan of Arab and then other friendly people from non-Arab, and then others and lastly the other non-Muslim community under Muslim empire. Why not tell everyone how the Jew and Christian hate Muslim until to this very day because of his racist policy. Maybe he really tried to do some good, but why was he so unfair?? Why he started classifying people? Some Arab country inherited his caste system. Where being Arab matters a lot. Thanks to your Umar

50. For the comfort of travelers he erected wooden seats and resting places
between Makkah and Madinah.
>>I think this was done in the time of Ummayah Empire. Check with historian and not your Wahabbi Ulama, pls.
I am getting really tired……………..anyone else wanting to reply on so called 'virtues' of Umar? I hope I didn’t make people angryyyyy.
