it is mindless to force infants or even young toddlers to keep the fast ... these kids have no idea what is going on, it is just an irritating day for them ... while parents are gloating in pride .. i find it similar to 1st bday of child, adults are enjoying while the kid has no idea what is going on .. at least it could be fun to for the kid .. not starve in case of the "roza"

What is the purpose of making infant and small child to do roza? Can anybody shed light on who had invented this custom of making small children to do fasting? I know making small children to do fast is highly encourage in our community and brain dead parents are so-so idiots that they dont even excuse 2-3 months infants. Since it is marked as beginning of Islam so do other sectors of Islam also fast and make their small children fast?

The day of Mab-a-as or the day of moti salawaat roza is considered as one of the main roza of the whole year.

Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (R.A.) said in a waaz that children even infants and also new borns should observe roza on this mubarak day but if they cry or crave for milk then feed them once in afternoon and make them lick khak e shifa at the time of iftaari.

And once the child understands what roza is and that he or she doesnt have to eat or drink then it is compulsory to do roza even for children on 27th Rajab ul Asab so that he/she gets ready for future when it will be farizat for him/her to do roza.

NO where in whole Quran such concept is written and not even sunni or shia practise this. there is no need to put your kids in such hardship for nothing. let them grow and fast when they can.
