Sentenced to Be Crucified

Saudi Arabia’s medieval criminal justice system also executes “witches,” and flogs and imprisons gay people.

It’s time for a frank discussion about our ally Saudi Arabia and its role legitimizing fundamentalism and intolerance in the Islamic world. Western governments have tended to bite their tongues because they see Saudi Arabia as a pillar of stability in a turbulent region — but I’m not sure that’s right.

Saudi Arabia has supported Wahhabi madrasas in poor countries in Africa and Asia, exporting extremism and intolerance. Saudi Arabia also exports instability with its brutal war in Yemen, intended to check what it sees as Iranian influence. Saudi airstrikes have killed thousands, and the blockading of ports has been even more devastating. Some Yemeni children are starving, and 80 percent of Yemenis now need assistance.

There’s also an underlying hypocrisy in Saudi behavior. This is a country that sentenced a 74-year-old British man to 350 lashes for possessing alcohol (some British reports say he may be allowed to leave Saudi Arabia following international outrage), yet I’ve rarely seen as much hard liquor as at Riyadh parties attended by government officials.

A Saudi prince, Majed Abdulaziz al-Saud, was just arrested in Los Angeles in a $37 million mansion he had rented, after allegedly drinking heavily, hiring escorts, using cocaine, terrorizing women and threatening to kill people.

“I am a prince,” he declared, according to an account in The Los Angeles Times. “And I do what I want.”

Saudi Arabia isn’t the enemy, but it is a problem. It could make so much positive difference in the Islamic world if it used its status to soothe Sunni-Shiite tensions and encourage tolerance. For a time, under King Abdullah, it seemed that the country was trying to reform, but now under King Salman it has stalled.

In effect, Saudi Arabia legitimizes fundamentalism, religious discrimination, intolerance and the oppression of women. Saudi women not only can’t drive, but are also told by some clerics that they mustn’t wear seatbelts for fear of showing the outlines of their bodies. Saudi Arabia inflames the Sunni-Shiite divide and sets a pernicious example of intolerance by banning churches.

Even Iran lately has mocked Saudi Arabia for mistreating women — and when misogynistic Iranian hard-liners can claim the high ground on women’s rights, you’ve got a problem.

I’ve defended Islam from critics like Bill Maher who, as I see it, demonize a diverse faith of 1.6 billion Muslims because a small percentage are violent extremists. But it’s incumbent on those of us who object to this demonization to speak up against genuine extremism. Sadly, Saudi Arabia is a gift to Islamophobes; it does far more damage to the reputation of Islam than any blaspheming cartoonists.

Granted, many Saudis are pushing for reform. One bright young writer, Raif Badawi, 31, called eloquently for women’s rights, education reform and freedom of thought, and Saudi Arabia has sentenced him to 10 years in prison, a $267,000 fine and a flogging of 1,000 lashes (50 at a time, with one session administered so far). His wife, Ensaf Haidar, tells me that his flogging is to resume soon after a long suspension, and that she fears he will not survive the entire lashing.

The United States government has largely averted its eyes from all this, at least in public, merely expressing deep concern about the crucifixion sentence even as it provides weaponry to enable the Saudi assault on Yemen.

That’s realpolitik. Saudi Arabia has oil and influence, and the Obama administration needed to cuddle with Saudi Arabia to win the Iranian nuclear deal. But now that that deal has been achieved, should we still be silent?

We do neither ourselves nor the Saudi people any favors when we wink at an ally that crucifies its people.

Sweden’s feminist foreign minister has dared to tell the truth about Saudi Arabia. What happens now concerns us all
Margot Wallström’s principled stand deserves wide support. Betrayal seems more likely

If the cries of ‘Je suis Charlie’ were sincere, the western world would be convulsed with worry and anger about the Wallström affair. It has all the ingredients for a clash-of-civilisations confrontation.

A few weeks ago Margot Wallström, the Swedish foreign minister, denounced the subjugation of women in Saudi Arabia. As the theocratic kingdom prevents women from travelling, conducting official business or marrying without the permission of male guardians, and as girls can be forced into child marriages where they are effectively raped by old men, she was telling no more than the truth. Wallström went on to condemn the Saudi courts for ordering that Raif Badawi receive ten years in prison and 1,000 lashes for setting up a website that championed secularism and free speech. These were ‘mediaeval methods’, she said, and a ‘cruel attempt to silence modern forms of expression’. And once again, who can argue with that?

The backlash followed the pattern set by Rushdie, the Danish cartoons and Hebdo. Saudi Arabia withdrew its ambassador and stopped issuing visas to Swedish businessmen. The United Arab Emirates joined it. The Organisation of Islamic Co-operation, which represents 56 Muslim-majority states, accused Sweden of failing to respect the world’s ‘rich and varied ethical standards’ — standards so rich and varied, apparently, they include the flogging of bloggers and encouragement of paedophiles. Meanwhile, the Gulf Co-operation Council condemned her ‘unaccept-able interference in the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’, and I wouldn’t bet against anti-Swedish riots following soon.

Yet there is no ‘Wallström affair’. Outside Sweden, the western media has barely covered the story, and Sweden’s EU allies have shown no inclination whatsoever to support her. A small Scandinavian nation faces sanctions, accusations of Islamophobia and maybe worse to come, and everyone stays silent. As so often, the scandal is that there isn’t a scandal.

It is a sign of how upside-down modern politics has become that one assumes that a politician who defends freedom of speech and women’s rights in the Arab world must be some kind of muscular liberal, or neocon, or perhaps a supporter of one of Scandinavia’s new populist right-wing parties whose commitment to human rights is merely a cover for anti-Muslim hatred. But Margot Wallström is that modern rarity: a left-wing politician who goes where her principles take her.

She is foreign minister in Sweden’s weak coalition of Social Democrats and Greens, and took office promising a feminist foreign policy. She recognised Palestine in October last year — and, no, the Arab League and Organisation of Islamic Co-operation and Gulf Co-operation Council did not condemn her ‘unacceptable interference in the internal affairs of Israel’. I confess that her gesture struck me as counterproductive at the time. But after Benjamin Netanyahu ruled out a Palestinian state as he used every dirty trick he could think of to secure his re-election, she can claim with justice that history has vindicated her.

She moved on to the Saudi version of sharia law. Her criticism was not just rhetorical. She said that it was unethical for Sweden to continue with its military co-operation agreement with Saudi Arabia. In other words, she threatened Swedish arms companies’ ability to make money. Saudi Arabia’s denial of business visas to Swedes threatened to hurt other companies’ profits too. You might think of Swedes as upright social democrats, who have never let worries of appearing tedious stand in the way of their righteousness. But that has never been wholly true, and is certainly not true when there is money at stake.

Sweden is the world’s 12th largest arms exporter — quite an achievement for a country of just nine million people. Its exports to Saudi Arabia total $1.3 billion. Business leaders and civil servants are also aware that other Muslim-majority countries may follow Saudi Arabia’s lead. During the ‘cartoon crisis’ — a phrase I still can’t write without snorting with incredulity — Danish companies faced global attacks and the French supermarket chain Carrefour took Danish goods off the shelves to appease Muslim customers. A co-ordinated campaign by Muslim nations against Sweden is not a fanciful notion. There is talk that Sweden may lose its chance to gain a seat on the UN Security Council in 2017 because of Wallström.

To put it as mildly as I can, the Swedish establishment has gone wild. Thirty chief executives signed a letter saying that breaking the arms trade agreement ‘would jeopardise Sweden’s reputation as a trade and co-operation partner’. No less a figure than His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf himself hauled Wallström in at the weekend to tell her that he wanted a compromise. Saudi Arabia has successfully turned criticism of its brutal version of Islam into an attack on all Muslims, regardless of whether they are Wahhabis or not, and Wallström and her colleagues are clearly unnerved by accusations of Islamophobia. The signs are that she will fold under the pressure, particularly when the rest of liberal Europe shows no interest in supporting her.

Sins of omission are as telling as sins of commission. The Wallström non-affair tells us three things. It is easier to instruct small countries such as Sweden and Israel on what they can and cannot do than America, China or a Saudi Arabia that can call on global Muslim support when criticised. Second, a Europe that is getting older and poorer is starting to find that moral stands in foreign policy are luxuries it can no longer afford. Saudi Arabia has been confident throughout that Sweden needs its money more than it needs Swedish imports.

Finally, and most revealingly in my opinion, the non-affair shows us that the rights of women always come last. To be sure, there are Twitter storms about sexist men and media feeding frenzies whenever a public figure uses ‘inappropriate language’. But when a politician tries to campaign for the rights of women suffering under a brutally misogynistic clerical culture she isn’t cheered on but met with an embarrassed and hugely revealing silence.

Cairo, Jan 27 : An Egyptian court has sentenced secular writer Fatima Naoot to three years in prison and a fine of $2,550 after being found guilty of insulting Islam, daily Al-Ahram reported.
Naoot, a former parliament candidate, is the second public figure to receive a jail term in less than a month for charges related to blasphemy, the paper said.
The jail sentence is effective immediately, although Naoot will be able to lodge an appeal from behind bars.
In October, she described in a post on her Facebook account Eid Al-Adha’s tradition of slaughtering sheep as the “greatest massacre committed by human beings”.
Naoot also wrote in an article in Egyptian daily El-Masry El-Youm criticizing the traditional slaughter of sheep during Eid, the Islamic festival of sacrifice and one of the main Muslim religious holidays worldwide.
During questioning, Naoot admitted writing the Facebook post but denied that her aim was to insult Islam, Al-Ahram said.
Naoot argued that humans justified their lust for killing and enjoying the smell of cooking game by attempting to bestow a divine meaning to their actions.
Egyptian authorities put TV host Islam Behery in prison in December after a court reduced to one year an earlier five-year sentence against him for “contempt of religion” over comments he made questioning the credibility of some sayings of the Prophet Mohammed on his now-suspended TV programme.
El-Beheiry is appealing against his prison sentence. His trial sparked public controversy and he got the support of many journalists, writers, scholars and human rights activists.
El-Beheiry and Naoot’s convictions come amid public debate over freedom of speech in Egypt.
The nascent Egyptian Secularist Party launched a campaign in November calling for the repeal of an Egyptian law punishing contempt of religion with up to five years in prison, Daily News Egypt reported

Saudi cleric says Islamic State and Saudi Arabia 'follow the same thought'

Sheikh Adel al-Kalbani, former imam of Mecca's Grand Mosque gave an interview on Dubai-based channel MBC.
In the interview, he said the Islamic State and Salafists in Saudi Arabia follow the same thoughts, but apply in different ways.
Kalbani also spoke about Saudi Arabia's stand on IS and numerous killings of journalists by IS.

Saudi Arabia follows the Sharia law, derived from the Quran. A former imam at the Grand Mosque in Mecca said the ideology of Salafists in Saudi Arabia is not very different from the brand of Islam the Islamic State follows.

Sheikh Adel al-Kalbani, in an interview with Dubai-based channel MBC, is seen explaining what he believes are the roots of IS. A British think tank Integrity UK translated the footage and uploaded on its YouTube channel day before yesterday.

Adel Kalbani said, "We follow the same thought [as IS] but apply it in a refined way," and that "they [IS] draw their ideas from what is written in our own books, from our own principles."

The cleric even said, "we do not criticise the thought on which it (IS) is based".

When asked whether he believes the rise of IS is a result of Islamist revivalism, he replied with an affirmative. He also said "Intelligence agencies and other countries might have [helped] Daesh to develop, providing them with weapons and ammunitions, and directing them,"

In 2013, Kalbani was denied a visa to visit the UK and the reason behind this is believed to be his stand about the Shia Muslims, who he called apostates (Muslims who have left Islam). In the interview with MBC he said IS and the Salafists in Saudi Arabia agreed on the thought Muslims who leave Islam should be executed.

On the numerous killings of journalists by IS, Kalbani said, "their blood was shed according to Salafist fatwas (religious edicts) not outside the Salafist framework."

You can watch the interview with subtitles here.

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealing to the clerics of Barelvi sect among the Muslim Sunni community to step up their efforts to counter extremism, the clerics have raised a clarion call against the Wahabi ideology and demanded the government to clear the Waqf Boards across the country off the control of Wahabi elements.

An anti-terrorism Sunni conference organised by All India Tanzeem Ulama -e- Islam (AITUI) in the national capital on Monday spewed venom against the Wahabi ideology and cautioned the community against the radicalisation being funded by the Saudi and Qatar petro-dollars.
"AITUI clearly states that this radicalisation is being spread within Muslim community like a virus by Wahabi elements funded by Petro dollars of Saudi Arabia & Qatar ... AITU wants to highlight the fact that ISIS is active in Indian under different names and banners. These ISIS fronts are organising conferences, and programmes to show their presence in India to their Saudi and Qatar-based funders and to assure them that they are present in India and working for the vested interests of Wahabis Monarchies of Saudi Arabia & Qatar," declared the conference of Barelvi clerics at Talkatora Stadium in the national capital while demanding the government to ban organisations promoting Wahabi and Salafi objectives.
"We want to say that these radical organisations are working for Wahabi and Salafi objective of radicalising youth in the name of social revolution. AITUI demand that the activities of these extremist organisations be banned as they are working against national security," the conference demanded, asserting that "Wahabism is part of dirty politics and has nothing to do with Islam". The impressive gathering of Sufi Sunni Muslim community members in the national capital, in this backdrop, also pitched its battle against the dominance of Wahabi or Deobandi followers in the affairs of Waqf Boards and minority educational institutions and prevalence of their teaching through various forms in the country.
The gathering holds significance in wake of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal to members of Barelvi sect to counter extremism by way of Sufi version of Islam "In his remarks during a meeting with a delegation of 40 Barelvi Sufi Scholars from various parts of the country this evening, the Prime Minister said that forces of extremism are attempting to weaken the Sufi ideology today. He added that it is essential for Sufi saints and scholars to counter these forces through various avenues including on social media, so that the ideology of extremism does not take root in India," a government communique had revealed about Prime Minister's appeal to the community of Barelvi Sufi scholars in their meeting in August last year.
While the August communique by government did not refer to Wahabi ideology, the gathering of Barelvi Sufi clerics in the national capital today launched a tirade against the Wahabi ideology and sought government action to contain the followers of Wahabi sect in Waqf Boards among other things.

Taliban militants publicly flog Afghan woman' for going to visit a doctor with her brother-in-law

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/worl ... 980323.cms

An Afghan woman has been publicly flogged by Taliban militants for going to visit a doctor with her brother-in-law, it has been reported.
It is understood that attackers wrongly thought that the woman had left her home with a stranger who was not a male relative, which would be contrary to some strict interpretations of Islamic code in certain parts of rural Afghanistan.
The man was also reportedly flogged. It later emerged that he was her brother-in-law.
Local media outlet Tolo News reports that the attack was videoed and footage has circulated online. They say that the video appears to show the woman pleading with her attackers and explaining that she urgently needed to visit the doctor but that her husband was not available to accompany her.
Local officials have confirmed the incident to the newspaper but said that "no one has officially filed a complaint against the Taliban."
A similar incident is alleged to have taken place in the same district last week whereby a woman was subjected to public flogging over accusations that she had had a telephone conversation with a male stranger.

I respect women in burqa because they are the true face of Islam choosing to follow the commands of Allah inspite of facing ridicule from non muslims and these days even from these pretend muslims like mamaji and Conscious.

yazidi woman who was kept as a sex slave for three months by ISIS has described the moment her family was massacred.
Nadia Murad, 21, is in the UK campaigning to build solidarity with victims of violence in Iraq and unite the world against ISIS.
Speaking at Trade Union Congress House in central London, she described how ISIS fighters killed six of her brothers and her mother. "When I speak I didn't speak just on my behalf, but on behalf of all the women and children affected in the war zone," she said, according to The Mirror.
"Two months have passed since I have been campaigning and people have been happy, not just Yazidis, about this message. About 5,800 Yazidi women and children were captured by the so-called Islamic State. They have killed many people in Iraq and Syria and displaced millions," Murad said.
"For us, the Yazidis, they killed the men and took the women and children. They were committing all kinds; murder, rape and displacing people by force in the name of Islam. Many people may think my story is difficult, but many more had more difficult than mine," Murad further said.
"They killed six of my brothers, but there are families that have lost 10 brothers."
Murad went on to say there are still around 3,400 women in the hands of ISIS.
She said she wants to see more help given to Yazidis living in refugee camps, and an investigation into whether ISIS has committed genocide against the Yazidi people.
Considered infidels by ISIS, many Yazidi women are abducted and sold as sex slaves.
Several mass graves, containing the bodies of more than 100 women, were found in Murad's hometown of Sinjar.
"A year and a half has passed and the genocide against the Yazidis is continuous. We die every day because we see the world silent in the face of our plight," she added.
"My mother saw them killing my brothers and then they took my mother and killed her.
"I was already orphaned as I didn't have a father, all I had in the war was my mother.
"But when they took me to Mosul and raped me, I forgot my mother and brothers. Because what they were doing to the women was more difficult than death.
"Imagine until now, for more than a year and a half, girls as young as nine are being rented and sold out [for sex]."

yazidi woman who was kept as a sex slave for three months by ISIS has described the moment her family was massacred.
Do you know the number of countries bombing ISIS? Here is a list

US
Canada
Iraq
Jordan
Bahrain
Saudi Arabia (your favorite ibn taimiyya ideology brethren)
UAE
France
Germany
UK
Australia
Belgium
Denmark

and Ammunition from the following countries
Italy
Czech Republic
Albania
Netherlands
Estonia
Hungary

The number of bombs dropped on ISIS is more than the stated number of ISIS members. And yet while all these countries are bombing ISIS they are capturing Yazidi women and making them sex slaves!!! So apparently ISIS is indestructible. No bomb is going to prevent them from having sex with sex slaves!!

Now when they show up at your house, better make sure your womenfolk are in the Quranic Hijab and not in your interpreted bikini hijab or else...

The Prophet asked, "Should I enter?"
Fatima said, "Enter, O Messenger of Allah."
The Prophet asked, "Should I enter with he who is with me?"
Fatima said, "O Messenger of Allah, I do not have a veil."
The Prophet said, "O Fatima, take a good quilt and cover your head with it."
So she did that, then he asked, "Should I enter? I and he who is with me?"
She replied, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah. You and he who is with you."
So the Prophet and Jabir entered, and the face of Fatima [a] was yellow like the belly of a locust.
The Prophet said, "I have never seen your face [this] yellow."
Fatima replied, "O Messenger of Allah, this is due to hunger."
So the Prophet prayed, "O Allah, reliever of hunger and giver of property, relieve the hunger of Fatima the daughter of Muhammad."
Then, by Allah, they saw the blood of her face restored, and she was never hungry after that day.

Posted by Al ignoor on his thread. The prophet (saw) and his daughter (ra) were both followers of the same ideology as ibn taimiyya.

prophet asked before entering, should he come?
it was her decision to let both of them in.
not like ibn taimiyya whose ideology doesnt allow free will to women and imposes everything in garb of u know what blah blah

btw this was according to nauman--follower of taimiyya --justifying prophets marraige as this was arab tradition, all did it at that time, nothing new in it, it was 1400 yrs ago--so why talk about it now?
if everything has to be done as it was done 1400 yrs ago---then when r some ppl getting married to 9 yrs old?
some followers of taimiyya are already doing it in u know where

DOHUK, Iraq: Locked inside a room where the only furniture was a bed, the 16-year-old learned to fear the sunset, because nightfall started the countdown to her next rape.
During the year she was held by the Islamic State, she spent her days dreading the smell of the ISIS fighter's breath, the disgusting sounds he made and the pain he inflicted on her body. More than anything, she was tormented by the thought she might become pregnant with her rapist's child.
It was the one thing she needn't have worried about.
Soon after buying her, the fighter brought the teenage girl a round box containing four strips of pills, one of them colored red.
"Every day, I had to swallow one in front of him. He gave me one box per month. When I ran out, he replaced it. When I was sold from one man to another, the box of pills came with me," explained the girl, who learned only months later that she was being given birth control.
It is a particularly modern solution to a medieval injunction: According to an obscure ruling in Islamic law cited by the Islamic State, a man must ensure that the woman he enslaves is free of child before having intercourse with her.
Islamic State leaders have made sexual slavery as they believe it was practiced during the Prophet Muhammad's time integral to the group's operations, preying on the women and girls the group captured from the Yazidi religious minority almost two years ago. To keep the sex trade running, the fighters have aggressively pushed birth control on their victims so they can continue the abuse unabated while the women are passed among them.
More than three dozen Yazidi women who recently escaped the Islamic State and who agreed to be interviewed for this article described the numerous methods the fighters used to avoid pregnancy, including oral and injectable contraception, and sometimes both. In at least one case, a woman was forced to have an abortion in order to make her available for sex, and others were pressured to do so.
Some described how they knew they were about to be sold when they were driven to a hospital to give a urine sample to be tested for the hCG hormone, whose presence indicates pregnancy. They awaited their results with apprehension: A positive test would mean they were carrying their abuser's child; a negative result would allow Islamic State fighters to continue raping them.
The rules have not been universally followed, with many women describing being assaulted by men who were either ignorant of the injunction or defiant of it. But over all, the methodical use of birth control during at least some of the women's captivity explains what doctors caring for recent escapees observed: Of the more than 700 rape victims from the Yazidi ethnic group who have sought treatment so far at a United Nations-backed clinic in northern Iraq, just 5 percent became pregnant during their enslavement, according to Dr. Nagham Nawzat, the gynecologist carrying out the examinations.
It is a stunningly low figure given that the normal fertility rate for a young woman is between 20 percent and 25 percent in any given month, four to five times the rate that has been recorded so far, said Dr. Nezar Ismet Taib, who heads the Ministry of Health Directorate in Dohuk, which oversees the clinic where the victims are being treated.
"We were expecting something much higher," he said.
The captured teenage girl, who agreed to be identified by her first initial, M., has the demeanor of a child and wears her hair in a bouncy ponytail. She was sold a total of seven times. When prospective buyers came to inquire about her, she overheard them asking for assurances that she was not pregnant, and her owner provided the box of birth control as proof.
That was not enough for the third man who bought her, she said. He quizzed her on the date of her last menstrual cycle and, unnerved by what he perceived as a delay, gave her a version of the so-called morning-after pill, causing her to start bleeding.
Even then, he seemed unsatisfied.
Finally he came into her room, closed the door and ordered her to lower her pants. The teenager feared she was about to be raped. Instead he pulled out a syringe and gave her a shot on her upper thigh. It was a 150-milligram dose of Depo-Provera, an injectable contraceptive, a box of which she showed to a reporter.
"To make sure you don't get pregnant," she recalled him saying.
When he had finished, he pushed her back onto the bed and raped her for the first time.
Ensuring Availability
Thousands of women and girls from the Yazidi minority remain captives of the Islamic State, after the jihadists overran their ancestral homeland on Mount Sinjar on Aug. 3, 2014. In the months since then, hundreds have managed to escape, returning to a community now living in tents in the plains of the yellow massif, hours from their former homes.
Many of the women interviewed for this article were initially reached through Yazidi community leaders, and gave their consent. All the underage rape victims who agreed to speak were interviewed alongside members of their family.
In its official publications, the Islamic State has stated that it is legal for a man to rape the women he enslaves under just about any circumstance. Even sex with a child is permissible, according to a pamphlet published by the group. The injunction against raping a pregnant slave is functionally the only protection for the captured women.
The Islamic State cites centuries-old rulings stating that the owner of a female slave can have sex with her only after she has undergone istibra' — "the process of ensuring that the womb is empty," according to the Princeton University professor Bernard Haykel, one of several experts on Islamic law consulted on the topic. The purpose of this is to guarantee there is no confusion over a child's paternity.
Most of the Sunni scholars who ruled on the issue argued that the requirement could be met by respecting a period of sexual abstinence whenever the captive changes hands, proposing a duration of at least one menstrual cycle, according to Brill's Encyclopedia of Islam.
In its own manual, the Islamic State outlines the abstinence method as one option. But it also quotes the minority opinion of a Tunisian cleric who in the 1100s argued that it was enough to fulfill merely the spirit of the law. That opens the way for other means, including modern medicine, to circumvent the waiting period.
A total of 37 women abducted by the Islamic State who agreed to be interviewed over three trips to northern Iraq described an uneven system: Some fighters insisted on double and even triple forms of contraception, while others violated the guidelines entirely. Although it remains unclear why some hewed closely to the regulations while others flouted them, one emerging pattern was that women held by senior commanders were more likely to be given contraception, in contrast to those held by junior fighters, who perhaps were less versed on the rules.
J., an 18-year-old, said she had been sold to the Islamic State's governor of Tal Afar, a city in northern Iraq. "Each month, he made me get a shot. It was his assistant who took me to the hospital," said J., who was interviewed alongside her mother, after escaping this year.
"On top of that he also gave me birth control pills. He told me, 'We don't want you to get pregnant,'" she said.
When she was sold to a more junior fighter in the Syrian city of Tal Barak, it was the man's mother who escorted her to the hospital.
"She told me, 'If you are pregnant, we are going to send you back,'" J. said. "They took me into the lab. There were machines that looked like centrifuges and other contraptions. They drew three vials of my blood. About 30 or 40 minutes later, they came back to say I wasn't pregnant."
The fighter's mother triumphantly told her son that the 18-year-old was not pregnant, validating his right to rape her, which he did repeatedly.
When that fighter tired of her, he gave her as a gift to his brother. Yet the brother did not take her back to have another blood test, forcing her to have sex without ascertaining whether she was carrying another man's child. Several other women reported a similar set of circumstances, including being given birth control by some of their owners but not by others.

Appreciate your research efforts and sharing it in this forum. Thanks.

Wahabism is an invention of a sick devilish person. It has nothing to do with Islam. These extremist groups are being used by world powers and middle eastern kingdoms and sheikhdoms to advance their own geo-political agenda. Do you see anything remotely Islamic (as in tolerance, respect of other faiths and beliefs, respect woman, children and human life) in their followers ?
I second that..
Br ghulam muhammed, qutub_mamajiwala, Al-Noor, dawedaar and others .. Great job publishing about this medieval, savage, scum of the earth wahhabis!!

-GM is also an anti-Bohra and I suspect that he carries an e-Jamaat card. He claims adherence to Fatimid doctrines. He is tolerant of other Muslim schools of thought but clearly he is not a Wahhabi.
Both AZ and GM make appreciative contributions to this forum although, like me, they are repetitive.

-SBM is an anti-Bohra, the only one who has himself admitted to be an e-Jamaat card holder. I do not think he would know what a Wahhabi is. I do not think he is one though.
-anajmi is the only one who is clearly a Wahhabi ex-Bohra. He of course denies being a Wahhabi. That is like Saudis who dislike being called Wahhabis but claim to be the 'Purest Muslims'.
Br fayyaaz,,
I totally agree with your analysis about each individual you've mentioned above..

What a bunch of bullshit!! Only idiots will believe in that those counties are bombing those headchops wahhabis.. In fact, many of those counties you have mentioned are the ones arming this wahhabi/salafi/takfiri terrorist.. Only counties known to be bombing the hell out of this rodents is Russia, Iran, Irak, syrian arab army, hezbollah and other Shias and christians groups from all around the world.

Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab, (1703 – 22 June 1792), the founder of Saudi Arabia’s Wahhabi-Salafi creed:

“Even if the Muslims abstain from Shirk (polytheism) and are Muwahhid (believer in oneness of God), their Faith cannot be perfect unless they have enmity and hatred in their action and speech against non-Muslims (which for him actually includes all non-Wahhabi or non-Salafi Muslims). (Majmua Al-Rasael Wal-Masael Al-Najdiah 4/291)

Imam Ibn Taymiyya (1263 - 1328) Most revered Hanbali jurist and scholar among Wahhabi-Salafi Muslims whose influence has recently grown immensely with the propagation of his creed by the Saudi monarchy:

“Since lawful warfare is essentially jihad and since its aim is that the religion is God's entirely and God's word is uppermost, therefore according to all Muslims, those who stand in the way of this aim must be fought... As for the People of the Book and the Zoroastrians, they are to be fought until they become Muslims or pay the tribute (Jizya) out of hand and have been humbled. With regard to the others, the jurists differ as to the lawfulness of taking tribute from them. Most of them regard it as unlawful...” (Excerpted from Rudolph Peters, Jihad in Classical and Modern Islam (Princeton, NJ: Markus Wiener, 1996), pp. 44-54)
