This was the reason why MA didn't go to California this year and stay put in Houston when SMS was in US and when abdes and amtes from across the US and Canada flocked to California in large numbers. MA usually rushes to India or any other place at drop of a hat for SMS events and waez and in that case, he didn't even travel 4 hours to California!

While the above, i couldnt care less, maybe its his style, what i did find truly disgusting is how casually and disdainfully he is flicking aside the covers. the decent thing to do could be to give it in the hand of the chamcha sitting next to him, thus maintaining the dignity of the money, the act of gifting and the feelings of the giver but no..... this is a person who has NEVER WORKED A DAY IN HIS LIFE AND THUS HAS NO IDEA OF THE VALUE OF MONEY

I did a ziyafat for this man when he was SED during Burhanuddin Aqa's lifetime. He was most concerned about what he would be paid personally vs. what we'd pay into dawat's treasury. We ended up paying him 3 times what we paid to dawat. As a gesture of his (in)gratitude, he hit our child hard on the forehead, which was his style then. He did not share one bit of ilm with us nor enlighten us in anyway with his manners or actions during his visit. He asked us repeatedly if we had a pool in our backyard which shows an unhealthy preoccupation with worldly possessions.

I know now that I deserved every bit of what I got (which is: letting a religious con-artist walk out of my house with thousands of my dollars!) because I invited this man into my house when I had the choice not to. These poor blokes bending and supplicating to him, deserve every bit of what they are getting.

HB, in Houston, I also saw the hanky even though MA was doing talakki (lisan ud dawat jargon for holding hands) of SMS. So, it is quite clear now that it's not just for common abdes to hold hankies, but even his own brother holds hanky while holding his hands!
