He says that once prophet was sitting in a mosque with his companions when an old woman carrying heavy load stopped by the mosque compound for rest. After rest, she was waiting for someone to help her putting back her load on her head.

When Prophet finished with his companions and started leaving the Mosque, the old woman requested prophet to help her put back the basket on her head. At that instance, Imam Hussain, who was of very small age, arrived and said, “Not a big deal, I would help loading the basket” and he did it with ease.

Seeing this, Prophet overcame with emotions and lifted Imam Hussain and squeezed him to his chest and started crying profusely. So much so, that his beard became wet. Imam Hussain took out his hanky and wiped prophet’s tears. Prophet cried more. I have never seen even a picture or a video of a person whose beard got wet from excessive tears. I searched Google also. Such exaggerations are in poetry and in fairytales only.

Prophet’s companions who were present asked, “Oh messenger of Allah, why are you crying?” Prophet said “The old woman, in reality was an angel; the load she was carrying in her basket was world’s pain and suffering. My son Hussein will lift this. He will lift weigh in Karbala; enemy will attack and imam will take care of his family and friends”
While Imam Hussain was wiping Prophet’s tears with his kerchief and saying, “Do not cry Grandpa” Prophet said, yes, yes, my son, you are now wiping my tears, however, when you will cry after Ali Asghar is killed, there will be no one for you to wiping your tears!

The story is dramatic and emotional but is totally flawed. There is no authentic Hadith that prophet ever cried profusely.

There are Riwayats that prophet advised his followers not cry too much over death of their loved ones.
Second, contention that prophet knew in advance that Karbala tragedy will occur and Yazid army will murder Imam Hussain is far from truth. It means, Muawiya’s rebellion against Imam Ali, poisoning of Imam Hassan, Muawiya becoming caliph, his son Yazid becoming caliph in disregard to treaty with Imam Hasan, all was written in book of Allah. If life is mere a drama why do we blame our enemies for wounds they inflict on us? Why do we blame Ayesha, and three caliphs for usurping Imam Ali’s rightful Khilafat. Why does Syedna force people to give more Wajebat? Did Allah not write in advance who will give how much Wajebat? Why does Syedna send La’nat on Khozema and his family if Allah had decided the split in advance?
Quran says, all your deeds will be judged in Qayamat. How can we get reward or punishment, if every little thing is written for us in advance and we are just actors?

Please understand that many emotional stories regarding Karbala have been imagined, without respect to actual history, by poets and then they wrote in poetry form under the so called Poetic license. However, Mufaddal Mola describing story as a true history, is nothing but phenka phenk ફેંકા ફેંક.

Very true. This jaahil More-la Muffy can't do even the simplest thing properly. The spectacle of the gilafs piled on top of the grave was pathetic, and this video shows the contrast between the quiet and dignified approach of SMB (RA), compared to the jaahil, junglee type motions of this so-called "da'i" of Brain Dead Abdes. I don't know what it is, but this More-La Muffy is hell bent on making himself and his followers into total undignified fools: shouting "aaaaah" on top of one's voice, green arm-bands, maatam in choreographed steps, long junglee dadhis etc. etc. etc. Truly, the devolution of Brain Dead Abdes towards cavemen is accelerating with every passing day.

However, when I saw TV news in Africa and in Pakistan, and where the news readers say “Doctor Syedna” before his name several times, I realized titles have paid dividend because laypersons and general public in Africa, in Pakistan, in India and in other places think Mufaddal Mola must have gone to a university passed MBBS or must have written some theses; they don’t know this is an honorary degree bought through greasing palms of officials in Pakistan, where corruption is rampant.
