Bohras and Shia centers

No shia is forced to pay any thing....that is the major difference between them and bohras.

No IDS and no 24 7 surveillance on people life like Bohras.

Over last few decades number of Bohras participating in local Shia centers in USA has been steadily increasing. These Shia centers provide better services and lectures tend to be far more educating and relevant to the occasion.

I have been to sunni mosque many times. I have never been to shia mosque. What do you have to do to get into the center, is there a need to register? Will they be ok if they find out I am an ismaili?

No need to register. It’s an open place and welcomes all.

Just show up and follow the protocol. Most sh is centers do not require membership or dues. Donations are voluntary and not pushed. It is a very friendly and welcoming place. No one worries about if you are shia or Sunni or even Muslim. During Muharram, many non-Shias and non-Muslims come to learn about Karbala.
