The fake doctor Nahdi Fahad Bader with fake MBBS, MD degrees worked in ICU for one year till his wife found him out.

A man who submitted fake MBBS and MD certificates to bag a job at Saifee Hospital, one of the city's top health institutes, not only worked in the hospital's Intensive Care Unit for close to a year, endangering several lives, but also managed to marry a fellow doctor. Nahdi Fahad Bader, who possibly survived in the job for a year because he always had Dr Priya Shrimali, whom he married in February this year, by his side in the ICU, was exposed when she got suspicious and informed her parents.
Both Nahdi and Dr Shrimali, a native of Chhattisgarh, have not reported for work for close to a month now, even as a shocked hospital management reviews its recruitment policies.
Saifuddin Bappai, spokesperson, Saifee Hospital, said the hospital is tightening its HR procedures. "After the Nahdi episode, we now ask candidates to submit original certificates along with the photocopies.
The certificates are now being verified directly with the respective universities,” he said.
Bappai, however, refused to put this reporter through to Dr. Vernon L de sa, the hospital’s director, despite repeated requests.
Nahdi had submitted fake MBBS and MD (Medicine) certificates when he applied for a job at Saifee Hospital in February last year.
Both certificates mentioned Bharti Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune as the institute from where earned these degrees.
While details are sketchy about what Nahdi’s responsibilities were during the one year he spent as a Resident Medical Officer at Saifee, he was attached to the ICU for the most part. Dr Shrimali too was attached to ICU and that is how they met, fell in love and got married.
While a few doctors Mumbai Mirror spoke to said it would be next to impossible for a fake doctor to survive so long in the ICU, those who have worked with Bader said he used to get Dr Shrimali to do all the work for him.
Dr Shrimali’s mother, Sarla, who retired as the principal of a school in Gwalior, said there was no reason for them to suspect Nahdi. "He was employed with Saifee, one of the best hospitals in Mumbai. Why would we suspect anything?" she said.
Sarla said she and her husband decided to run a check on Nahdi after her daughter on a few occasions mentioned that she found something amiss with her husband. "She said his complete lack of interest in his work unnerved her. She also mentioned that for a doctor, he was completely clueless about human anatomy, "Sarla added.
Sarla and her husband then took Nahdi’s registration certificate to Pune to cross-check with the university."

About Dr. Saifuddin Bapai the reporter points out that "Bappai, however, refused to put this reporter through to Dr. Vernon L de sa, the hospital’s director, despite repeated requests."

This fake doctor proudly claims that he had treated Sayedna Saheb for his broken hip-bone.

What surprise me most that keeping apart the credential, how can any hospital employ a person who dont know the basics of anatomy, leave apart medicine. This guy was working in ICU for ONE WHOLE YEAR....
Or is it that hospital administration dint bother to take a formal interview of the candidate before ofering him a job. I m sure if interviewed by any real doctor, he would have not been able to get job. Pathetic...

I brought this news to notice of vistors of this board so that they can go on goggle and varify for themselves.

The functioning of Ruhani Saifee Hospital is far from from satisfaction as Mudrika Zakiuddin and other Kotharis demanding their cuts from each doctors woking there and managing affais with lots of air in their heads. Costly machinaries have been stollen, fake doctors are appointed and real good professional doctor have left the hospital. I have interviewed many doctors have left the hospital and found that the affairs there is run in the same arrogant kothari manners. Some day I will write the sad story in detail.
